Well, thanks to Google and technology, almost everything has been made easy.
Step 1: Open the Google Drive app Google Drive.
Step 2: In the bottom right, tap Add
Step 3: Tap Scan then take a photo of the document you would like to scan.
Step 4: Adjust the scan area, you can crop out parts you don’t want. If you want to add another page tap Add.
Step 5: To save the finished document, tap Done.
