Top Azimio la Umoja officials led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have arrived for the reqium mass of victims of alleged police brutality at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Park in Bondo town.

Other officials include Martha Karua, Wiper party boss Kalonzo Musyoka, Ida Odinga, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and former presidential candidate George Wajackoya.

Former Defense Minister Eugene Wamalwa, Siaya Governor James Orengo, embattled Jubilee Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, Senator Oburu Oginga, and National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi are also in attendance.

Others are MPs Christine Ombaka, Samuel Atandi and Otiende Amolo.

The prayers are led by Sheikh Rashid Owino and Bishop Martin Arara.

According to the chairman of the requim mass organising committee Obiero Otare, the mass is meant to pray for the souls of a total of nine alleged victims of police brutality.
