Ruto arrives in Kenya after US state visit

The President said on arrival in Nairobi  that he was happy to be home.

President William Ruto arrived back in Nairobi Saturday evening after a three-day state visit to the United States.

The President was received by senior members of his Cabinet led by Interior CS Kithure Kindiki and Interior PS Raymond Omollo.

Also present were Defence CS Aden Duale and Leader of Majority in the National Assembly Kimani Ichung'wah.

Inspector General of Police Japeth Koome and other senior officers was also on call to receive the head of state.

Also present was the Head of Public Service Felix Koskei.

The President announced his arrival in Nairobi saying he is happy to be home.

"It’s good to be back home!" the President said on X.
