Prayer Breakfast to be held every last Thursday of May

Wetang'ula said the event will be organised by Parliament and will have a determinate day in the calendar.

National Prayer Breakfast will be held every last Thursday of May, Speaker Moses Wetang'ula has said.

Speaking during the prayer breakfast held at Safari Park, Nairobi, Wetang'ula said the event will be organised by Parliament and will have a determinate day in the calendar. 

"As we move on to the future, the National Prayer Breakfast will be held on the last Thursday of May, and will be the key event by Parliament," he said  

This year's theme is: Reconciliation to God and Men 

The 20th National Prayer Breakfast had been rescheduled to June 7 from May 31, over factors that were beyond control.

"This is to inform you that the 20th National Prayer Breakfast which was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 31st May 2023 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 7th June 2023," the statement read.

During the event, the leaders are expected to address issues that are currently affecting Kenyans.
