Opposition Chief Raila Odinga has intensified his criticism of President William Ruto, telling him to roll out his campaign promises without further delay.

The Azimio la Umoja One Kenya leader said in Kilifi on Saturday evening that Ruto is buying time and 'whining' instead of immediately implementing his promises to Kenyans.

Raila and Ruto have lately opened a new political war front over campaign promises and proposed policies by the Kenya Kwanza administration.

“He(Ruto) said that immediately he would lower the Bible he would reduce the prices of Unga. Have the Unga prices come down? He is now asking for one year,” Raila said.

The veteran opposition leader also asked Ruto to implement an interest free Hustler Fund without dithering as he pledged to voters during his presidential campaigns.

“He(Ruto) had said he would ensure that the Hustler Fund is without interest, why the about turn?” Raila posed.

Ruto has come under pressure from the opposition over his proposed Hustler Fund plans with leaders calling him out for betraying voters' hopes by imposing interest on the facility.

Ruto has said there is no 'free government money' as the Hustler Fund will attract not more than 10 per cent interest.

The president has announced he will launch the Hustler Fund on December 1.
