The ongoing rains have left a trail of destruction in different parts of the country.

Residents of Shimberey village in Garissa were left homeless after their village was marooned by floods.

Ali Abdilahi Muhamad, 50, an elder at Shimberey village in Garissa was seen wading through water after they got displaced by floods.

This followed heavy downpour in the area and other parts of the Country.

The continuous rainfall in most parts of the country has left many families in need of humanitarian assistance.
