Projects will help deliver bottom-up agenda – MP Koech

Belgut MP Nelson Koech has said the projects being launched across the country by President William Ruto will help in delivering the Bottom-Up transformation agenda.

Speaking in Kericho during the commissioning of the Kapsuser-Sosiot Road on Thursday, Koech cited the modern market stalls, ICT hubs and road projects being rolled out by in various counties.

“We now have a milk cooperative in Kabianga which is producing more than one million liters every month,” he said.

Koech further stated that he will work closely with other leaders from across the country to ensure the Kenya Kwanza manifesto is realized.

“We are going to unite as leaders including Labor Cabinet secretary Florence Bore to ensure that more of our youths travel abroad to work,” he stated.

Ruto was in the county on a development tour.

He launched the construction and upgrade of key roads and also the affordable housing project.

The tour programme saw the Head of State start by presiding over the opening of a modern ICT lab at Belgut Technical Institute (BTTI) and the launch of the Kapsurer-Sosiot road.

Ruto thereafter commissioned the new passport Centre in Kericho town and later laid the foundation stone for the construction of the affordable housing project.

The Head of State who was accompanied by his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua among a host of other leaders later launched the construction of a modern market at Chepseon in Kipkelion East.
