[PHOTOS] Ruto opens Belgut Technical Training Institute, Digital Hub

President William Ruto on Thursday officially opened the Belgut Technical Training Institute and Belgut TTI Digital Hub in Kericho County.

The president said that the project is meant to empower the youths in the county with in-demand skills in IT.

The hub, according to Ruto will encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among the county's youth.

"Empowering our youth with contemporary, in-demand skills not only boosts their competitiveness in the job market but also enhances their capacity for innovation and entrepreneurship," the president wrote on X.

This is part of the key projects that the president is launching during his Kericho-Bomet Development Tour.

Other projects include; The Talai Affordable housing project at Ainamoi Constituency, the reconstruction of Chepseon-Maili Nne road, the upgrade of Kericho town roads and a passport centre.
