Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has warned that Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza could still be in for a rollercoaster regardless of the senate's decision.
Ledama on Sunday said he sympathised with the embattled Governor whose impeachment is in motion.
The Senator advised Mwangaza to seek counsel from retired Makueni Governor Kivutha Kubwana on how to deal with MCAs.
"I feel very sorry for Governor Kawira! It’s going to be a roller coaster for her regardless of our decision … please talk to Prof Kibwana for advice on how to deal with MCAs," Ledama said in a tweet.
This comes after Senators scheduled Tuesday next week to consider an impeachment motion against the Meru Governor.
The Meru County Assembly submitted impeachment documents to the senate on Thursday.
This was a day after it voted to kick out Mwangaza.
The Senate can determine the matter in two ways. Either a plenary where the parties will be allowed to defend and or lay their case before the whole House before a vote is undertaken.
Senators may also decide to form a committee which will be made up of 11 members to probe the matter.
Voting in either of the two ways will be by delegation, this means only elected members will participate.
At least 24 senators of the 47 will be required to approve the resolution of either approving or rejecting the impeachment.
