Strathmore hope to reap points as they host KNBL matches

Strathmore University hope to reap maximum points as they host Kenya National Basketball League matches in their backyard this weekend.

Swords, the women's side will play Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat ) 'Lynx'. Strathmore Blades, on the other hand, meet Zetech University Titans and play Kenyatta University "Pirates" the following day.

Africa Nazarene University 'ANU Wolfpacks' have a tight fixture against the striking Thunder. Caleb Osewe's KU 'Pirates' will also face off against ANU in a game that is expected to be all fire.

Zetech University Sparks women's side, who are gunning for a top spot, take on Kenyatta University "Oryx" On Sunday while the University of Nairobi  'Dynamites' play struggling Eagle Wings. Zetech Sparks play KU Oryx.

Eldonets Platinum guard Renny Moibi warned Ulinzi Warriors to brace themselves for a tight duel. He said the team has trained well and they are good to go.

They are eyeing two points and will go at the soldiers with all guns blazing. He said the Eldonets pride had some challenges that have now been sorted and now they are good to go.

"We needed a time out, assessed our situation and rallied our troops. I know we'll be playing," Moibi said.

 He said with the sponsors fully behind the side, they don't intend to lose any more games at home. They have lost to leaders Kenya Ports Authority and Umoja at home.

Moibi revealed that Eldonets have welcomed back to the team King Mswati Ong'ijo, Neville Otieno as well as Geu Deng.

"Teams have beefed up their squads but we are confident of our preparations in Eldy. Platinum credit has our backs and we intend to repay them with wins," he added. 

 Eldonets will also bank on sharpshooter Tyson Omweno for the home win against the visiting Ben Mufutu's side

Eldonets Ladies confront Storms who are recovering from their 46-41 defeat to Strathmore University Swords in Kisumu while home girls Lady Bucks hope to continue their rise when they welcome Storms at their Manyatta Arab base.
