Kenya Ports Authority will regain the top spot in the Kenya National Basketball League with a win against Kenyatta University Pirates in Mombasa.

The porters, who are third on the log behind leaders Equity Bank Dumas and Ulinzi Warriors will move up with 21 points. The two are currently tied on 20.

KPA, back from Madagascar where they booked their ticket to the Basketball Africa League (BAL) Elite 16, remain unbeaten in their Makande backyard.

"We have trained well for Mombasa. We will take it as a normal game but we will approach them knowing they are also a good team," Osewe said.

Women champions KPA, who remain the only side in the Premier League that is yet to taste defeat, play Kenyatta University "Oryx". They are top with 20 points.

"We are ready for the duel. We are in camp and we are through with our training today. KU are a good team but we want to keep our unbeaten run intact, "  said KPA tactician Anthony Ojukwu.

 Africa Nazarene University (ANU) teams are also away in Kisumu where they play Lady Bucks and Lakeside respectively.

"Kisumu sides are always hard nuts to crack at home. But we are going ready for anything. We will not underrate them at all," Offered ANU coach Mike Oluoch.

At the Nyayo National Stadium, Strathmore University Swords welcome Eldonets as Equity Bank Hawks meet University of Nairobi Dynamites.

The last top fixture of the day will see Strathmore University Blades take on the University of Nairobi Terrorists in what should be a tough game. On Sunday, Equity Hawks play Eldonets. Two wins for the seventh-placed bankers will see them move to the second spot with 18 points.
