Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition party has urged neighbouring countries not to supply weapons or teargas ahead of their planned demos.

"We appeal to our neighbours in the region not to join in the war against Kenyans. Our neighbours must not supply teargas and ammunition to fight Kenyans," Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua said.

She said their "crime" was challenging the Kenya Kwanza administration to lower the cost of living, audit the 2022 presidential election, end poaching of political parties and reconstitution the IEBC.

Karua spoke on Tuesday at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation in Nairobi.

She said they were not afraid of physical death.

"As leaders, we have reached the decision that we shall fear not those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul," she said.

Affirming this, the Azimio co-principal said they will not cower even after the withdrawal of their security details.

She said the protests planned for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will go on.

"We appeal to our police to maintain their professionalism that has been seen from some of its members who have participated in UN nations across the globe and who have lifted the image of our country," she said.

"We appeal to them to resist being used to provide cover to tribal militia that kills people in the name of policing. A time comes when all the crimes will be answered for by those involved."
