Suspect behind disappearance of firearms in Homa Bay arrested

The suspect behind the attack on a police station in Homabay has been arrested.

The attack led to the disappearance of four firearms and over 100 rounds of ammunition.

The suspect was arrested following an operation by detectives in Homabay.

The recovery of one of the G-3 rifles loaded with 20 rounds of 7.6mm calibre was accomplished when the detectives raided his father's compound in Abuje village after receiving information that the dangerous arms were buried there.

The suspect's father is believed to be a part of the gang as he managed to escape the police dragnet. His search is currently underway.
