Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has secured a second term in office after beating his predecessor, Cleophas Lagat.

Sang was vying on a UDA ticket.

Results announced on Friday morning by the IEBC showed that he garnered 237,045 votes followed by Lagat who got 54,375 votes. 

Lagat was running as an independent candidate after loosing in the UDA primaries.
