In a statement on Thursday, the former Prime Minister insisted that he has been there for Kenyans before and that the struggle has never ended.
Raila also assured Kenyans that he has fixed problems facing the country before and he will still fix this.
"I feel your pain, I've been there for you before and the struggle has never ended. I've fixed problems before, I am going to fix this," he wrote on Twitter.
The ODM leader is seeking to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta as the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya.
It will also be his fifth stab at the country's top job, having first vied in 1997.
He also contested for the same position in 2007 losing to then-incumbent President Mwai Kibaki.
In 2013 and 2017, Raila lost both elections to President Uhuru Kenyatta, who has openly endorsed his candidature for the August 9 polls.
