“As you go forth to represent our nation, I want to assure you of the government's total support. I have no doubt you will deliver an outstanding performance."

The Kenyan athletes have been rigorously preparing for the games, with basketball training sessions being held at Umoja Courts in Nairobi and wrestling at Strathmore University.
