Shabana restored a 10-point lead at the top of the FKF National Super League (NSL) following a comfortable 3-0 win over Kajiado FC at Ildamat playground in Kajiado county on Sunday.

New signing Cornelius Juma scored a brace on his debut while lanky midfielder Peter Ogechi wrapped up the scores for the Glamour Boys.

Shabana moved to 38 points, 10 better than second-placed Mara Sugar, who were held to a barren draw by visiting Naivas at Awendo Green Stadium on Saturday.

Kibera Black Stars are third on the table with 27 points following a barren draw with Silbwet at Bomet Stadium. Kisumu All Stars piled more misery on Gusii FC after beating the Kisiii-based side 1-0 at Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Meanwhile, NSL clubs are now expected to foot the referees' fees following a directive from Football Kenya Federation. Each club is expected to pay Sh10, 000 before kick-off which the clubs insist is a huge burden to the already struggling clubs.
