'Bank with us’ golf tournament sponsored by Diamond Trust Bank this weekend at Nyali’s par 71 golf course in Mombasa has attracted 200 golfers from different golf clubs.
This is the bank’s second golf tournament this year having successfully hosted a similar event at the 72-par Kakamega Sports Club.
“After hosting a successful outing in Kakamega county, we will be in Mombasa to thrill golf enthusiasts on the fairways.
"We call on all fans to turn up in large numbers to experience a fun-filled day as top golfers within and without Mombasa go head-to-head in search of top honors.
"We hope the event will help position the county as a favourite golfing destination and in turn boost its tourism efforts,” said Nasim Devji,
DTB is keen on developing the sport in the country to position Kenya on the map as a sports behemoth and to help build the careers of various Kenyan golfers.
“We intend to be part and parcel of the growth of golf in Kenya. As such, we will be partnering with like-minded partners in our future engagements to see to it that this becomes a reality" noted Devji.
