US Vice President Kamala Haris released a list of 25 songs she has been listening to in the past few months on Spotify.
The VP's 'My Travels' playlist has a diverse range of artists as she travels through Ghana, Tanzania and Zambia.
Sauti Sol’s Bien Aime Baraza is the only Kenyan musician on the list through a collaboration he did with Tanzania’s Darassa called No Body.
The list is dominated by Tanzanians as far as the East Africa space is concerned.
Those on the list from Tanzania are Zuchu, Harmonize, Jay Melody, Juma Jux, Marioo, Alikiba, Mbosso and Darassa
Kamala arrived in Ghana on Sunday (March 26) for her first trip to Africa while in office, and will visit Tanzania on Wednesday and Zambia on Friday before returning to the US on Sunday.
