Sauti Sol's Bien says the band has stood strong since they are friends more than artistes.
Speaking in a recent podcast interview, Bein said the band members have respected the friendship before work comes in.
"I have not seen a Sauti Sol member somewhere talking ill about the rest of the group members," he said.
Unlike most groups who are there for the music, Bien says the band was brought together by friendship.
"We have moments of therapy reflections. This is the longest relationship I have ever been in in my life. Having people I call brothers for 20 years is not an easy thing," he said.
The band was formed in 2005 and comprised vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi and guitarist Polycarp Otieno.
The band celebrated 17 years together in December 2022.
