WhatsApp will soon allow group admins to add up to 1024 people.

Currently, users can add up to 512 members to a group chat after being raised from 256 people.

But WhatsApp is about to double it once again and allow you to make group chats with over a thousand members.

The feature was first spotted by WABetainfo and will be rolled out globally to iOS and Android users soon.

The firm is in close competition with Telegram, which lets you add 200, 000 people to a group chat.
