13 cows were killed instantly on Thursday in Athi River after a truck driver decided to drive through a herd of 18 cows.
The driver was heading to Nairobi and tried to overlapped other trucks before hitting the cattle.

A family in Kiambu was in agony after four of their children were involved in a grisly road accident on Saturday.
Three of them succumbed to the injuries while in ICU while one survived.
They were walking by the roadside when a car veered off the road and hit them.
Four vehicles crash leaving two dead in Migori.
Two people died after a truck carrying sand lost control of its break and rammed into vehicles and pedestrians.
A total of four vehicle were involved in the accident which took place on Wednesday in Migori town.
11 people were left in critical condition.
Limuru Road accident leaves casualities
An accident happened on Thursday evening at around Limuru near Village Market leaving behind some casualties.

A car was left hanging off a bridge after a late-night accident that left its passengers plunging into the canal as reported by Mirror UK news.
The car completely destroyed the bridge's wall in Wolverhampton last Saturday but stopped short of falling into the water.
Its driver was able to clamber out onto the road but the front-seat passenger had no choice but to leap into the water to escape the wreckage.
The driver and passenger were unhurt.
