Winnie Odinga insulted me over Ruto photo - ex-Raila aide

He insists the young Odinga should learn to respect people.

Silas Jakakimba, a former aide to Raila Odinga now claims that Winnie Odinga hurled insults at him for using a picture with Ruto as his Twitter cover photo.

Jakakimba said he has spent half the years of his life working closely with Winnie's father (Raila), a decision that needed them to make sacrifices because of who they pledged loyalty.

He stated that the Eala MP accused him of 'betrayal.'

The lawyer added that he respects the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance leader.

Jakakimba who is also a legal adviser to Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga noted that it is important Winnie respects people for who they are.

"It is imperative moving forward that Winnie learns to respect people for who they are - if not least, for what they’ve been in a long journey of several lows and countable highs, for love of country." 

At the time of publication, Winnie had not responded to our request for comment.

The president was in the company of Governor Wanga who is Jakakimba's boss.
