AIC clergy guilty of defiling daughter for six years at knifepoint

The accused committed the offence on diverse dates between 2008 and 2014 in Kajiado

A famous AIC pastor has been found guilty of defiling his biological daughter between 2008 and 2014.

PQ was found guilty after the prosecution successfully proved the case against him.

Court prosecutor Allan Mogere called several witnesses who testified in the case.

According to the charge sheet, the accused person committed the offence on diverse dates between 2008 and 2014 at the veterinary area in Kajiado North District within Kajiado North county.

He unlawfully and intentionally defiled his biological daughter contrary to the Sexual offences Act.

The accused was charged with a second count of committing an indecent act with a child contrary to the law.

While reading the judgement, senior principal magistrate Derrick Kuto said the accused’s defence held no ground.

“This defence has no basis and is well scripted, the law must do justice to the victims in this case, the accused person is therefore convicted as charged,” Kuto said.

In his mitigation, the accused person pleaded with the court to have mercy on him and in his defence told the court that the charges were fabricated.

The girl too testified in court and narrated how the accused person preyed on him.

“He took a kitchen knife and placed it on my neck, he later defiled me and threatened me, he promised to kill me if I dared to tell anyone including my mother,” he told the court.

She told the court that the accused person defiled her from the age of eight until she turned 14.

“When I reached Std 7 we were taught about sex education and I decided to share with a friend the experience I had with my father on sex matters, my friend leaked the information to my teacher who later informed the principal and I was called to the office,” she told the court.

She told the court that the accused person was later called to the school.

“He came with the CRE textbook, I saw him at the school administration blocks and he looked worried,” she added.

The court has directed that a probation report be filed in court ahead of his sentence.
