Bomet Woman Rep elect Linet Chepkorir Toto has lauded her Boda boda rider after her win.

The rider had become her designated 'driver' during her campaigns.

Toto took to Twitter on Tuesday and thanked him for his passion and dedication.

"On this day, allow me to thank my "driver" Gideon Cheruyiot who dedicated his time to carry me around on his Bodaboda, which was my official vehicle," she said.

"Because of his passion, I was able to go to all meetings safely and on time. God bless you Gideon."

Toto garnered 242,775 votes flooring eight other hopefuls who were also in the race.

She was vying for the seat on a UDA ticket.

Her closest opponent nominated senator Alice Milgo of CCM got 43,180 votes.

The 24-year-old is the youngest to be elected to the National Assembly.
