The two IEBC commissioners have not seen eye to eye since William Ruto was declared the president elect on August 15.

Chairman Wafula Chebukati and his vice chair Julian Cherera differed on whether Ruto should be declared president or his rival Raila Odinga.

During the declaration, Cherera accompanied by three other commissioners; Justus Nyang’aya, Francis Wanderi and Irene Masit said the results are of opaque nature.

With the Raila led team petitioning the results, the two commissioners have since submitted affidavits on what happened behind the scenes.
