Former Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando has told Azimio La Umoja Coalition to move on from election politics.

Speaking on Tuesday at NTV, the legislator said it was time for the Raila Odinga-led coalition to accept defeat and form a strong opposition.

"We should always learn to accept defeat. The best we can do is to craft a well-organized opposition," he said.

The legislator noted that the well-organized opposition should be crafted on the public's interest, welfare and people's needs.

Kabando further said that Azimio lost to a man who was well-organised despite having almost everyone against him.

"I was in Azimio, a candidate in Nyeri, and we lost the election to a man who organized himself, who knew he had the whole system against him," he said

"Ruto beat us despite having the former Prime Minister and former President against him, " Kabando added.
