PSC announces 63 vacancies in state departments

Interested Kenyans are required to submit their applications before May 15.

The Public Service Commission has announced 63 vacancies in the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action and in the Ministry of Defence.

In a notice, the Commission urged any interested and qualified Kenyans to submit their applications before May 15.

"Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission's website or jobs portal," the notice reads.

The Commission is seeking to recruit one secretary for the State Department for Gender and Affirmative Action.

A director/ senior lecturer, lecturer, neurosurgeon, psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, plastic surgeon, orthopaedic surgeon, pathologist, and paediatrician are some of the advertised positions in the Ministry of Defence.

Other vacancies advertised in the same Ministry include positions for a gynaecologist, physician, anesthesiologist, oncologist, medical officers and dentists.

The Commission also cancelled an earlier advertisement of vacancies that had been placed for the same department and Ministry.
