Judiciary announces 61 job vacancies

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced 61 new vacancies.

The posts include one position of Chief Kadhi and 60 positions of Resident Magistrate.

Interested and qualified persons have been asked to visit their jobs portal for more details such as job description, requirements for appointment and instructions on how to apply.

“All applications should reach the commission not later than April 28, 2023, for Chief Kadhi and May 5, 2023, for resident magistrate respectively at 5:00 pm,” noted JSC.

They added that campaigning to get votes in the various positions will lead to disqualification.

“Only shortlisted and successful candidates will be contacted. Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification,” noted JSC.

JSC is a constitutional commission established under Article 171 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 to promote and facilitate the independence and accountability of the Judiciary and the efficient, effective and transparent administration of Justice.
