- Azimio leaders are playing hide and seek with security officers after the protests were outlawed on Sunday.
- Most MPs are waiting for Raila's brief before hitting Nairobi streets on Monday.
Most Azimio allied MPs are waiting for their leader Raila Odinga's signal before hitting the streets to lead the march to State House.
This is as it emerged that the MPs are spread in secret locations as they plan on how to storm the Nairobi Central Business District.
Raila had asked supporters to converge at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre before embarking on a march to State House.
Police have been deployed along the key city streets and major roads leading to KICC and State House, complicating Azimio's plans.
Some Azimio supporters have started converging in the CBD awaiting the start of the protests with key politicians yet to make their way to the streets.
The initial plan was that all the Azimio MPs were to converge at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation before marching together to the CBD.
However, fearing house arrests, top Azimio leaders made changes to the itinerary which they are keeping closely guarded.
"We felt that if we tried to converge at JOOF, then that would play into the security officers' trap to seal the area and block our exit," another MP said.
At the moment, it is not clear where Raila is located with a spot check at the road leading to his Karen residence showing no activity.
On Monday morning, Raila's daughter Winnie Odinga claimed that her phones have been hacked ahead of Monday's march to State House.
Winnie, who is also a member of the East Africa Legislative Assembly, asked Azimio supporters to meet in the CBD for the planned protests.
