Kenya Power has announced areas that will experience power interruptions on Thursday.
The shutdown will affect four counties namely Nairobi, Embu, Nyeri and Kiambu.
"Please be advised that tomorrow there will be planned shutdowns in the following areas below," KPLC said in a tweet.
In Nairobi, areas to be affected are Kenafric village, Babadogo Laundry village, Kenafric Rubber factory, PZ Cussons, Sai Raj, Roy Motors, Kenafric Business Park, Riverside Estate and LG Harris.
The power shutdown will start from 9am to 5pm.
Parts of Embu County that will be affected are Kathanjure Market and SA Kyeni.
The interruption will be between 9am and 3pm.
In Nyeri county, places to be affected are Kangocho C/fact, Kangocho Market, Karumaindo and Kiriti TBC between 9am and 3pm.
Places that will be affected in Kiambu country are Githunguri town, Githunguri Hospital, Fresha Dairy and Kamuchege Market.
Residents and businesses in those areas will experience the interruption between 9am and 5pm.
