Power outage hits various parts of country

Kenya Power has announced a power outage in various parts of the country.

In a statement issued at 3:25 pm on Thursday, the power company said this was caused by a system disturbance.

"We are working to restore normalcy within the shortest time possible," KPLC said.

The company apologized to the affected customers, adding that it will keep on updating the restoration progress.
