• A team of the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms will on Friday, hold public hearings on education reforms in Taifa Hall at the University of Nairobi from 9.00am.

• Senators want all county health facilities with maternity wings to allocate a separate ward for recovery for mothers who have gone through stillbirth 

Chief Justice Martha Koome will on Friday preside over the swearing-in of Japhet Koome following his appointment as Inspector General of Police. 

He will take over the leadership of the National Police Service replacing Hilary Mutyambai who went on terminal leave due to health reasons. He had six months left on his term.

Willie's Kimani murder case

Friday's sentencing is likely to be pushed as Judge Jessie Lesiit is unavailable to preside over the Mavoko three case as earlier communicated.

Further directions are to be given before Justice Ogembo on Friday at 9 am. The date of sentencing will be given on notice. 

Installation ceremony of Justice Ongaya 

Chief Justice Martha Koome will on Friday preside over the Installation ceremony of Justice Byram Ongaya as Principal Judge of the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC).

The event will take place at the Milimani Law Courts.

Machogu to launch 2022 National examinations

Education Cabinet Secretary on Friday 11 November 2022 officiate the launch of the 2022 National Examinations’ season at New Mitihani House, South C at 12.30 pm.

Public hearing on education reforms

A team of the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms will on Friday hold public hearings on education reforms in Taifa Hall at the University of Nairobi from 9.00 am.

The hearings will be graced by the Chairperson of the Working Party, Prof. Raphael Munavu.

Ruto meet with pensioners 

President William Ruto will on Friday preside over the Association of Pension Trustees and Administrators of Kenya stakeholders meeting.

The President will also launch the Sanduku Initiative which brings together the pensions sector, insurance firms, Saccos, cooperatives, and Islamic finance institutions to support the government’s affordable housing plan.

The function will take place at the College of Insurance in South C, Nairobi County.
