Fake doctor Mugo wa Wairimu will on Tuesday know his fate in a case where he was charged with raping a patient and also operating a gynaecologist clinic without a license in Githurai.  Judgment is to be delivered at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi.

KQ pilot strike saga

Kenya Airways pilots to appear before the Employment and Labour Relations Court to show cause why they shouldn't be punished for contempt after staging a strike that had been suspended by a judge.

GSU case

GSU officers accused of killing protesters in Masimba, Kajiado,  to file a case to stop their prosecution.

They are accused of shooting and killing four people on June 2 during a protest by a mob over increased attacks by wild animals.

Those who died were Duncan Kanari, Letemir Topoika Yionti, Denis Matheka Mutua and Stanley Ntidu Tereu.

Obado murder case 

Former Migori Governor Okoth Obado's murder case will be mentioned on Tuesday.

Obado, his personal assistant Michael Oyamo and Obiero are facing trial over the murder of Sharon Otieno and her seven-month unborn baby on September 3, 2018, at Kowade in Rachuonyo sub-county within Homa Bay County.

Sharon was killed while she was still a student at Rongo University and dating the Migori Governor.

Vetting for IG nominee 

Former Inspector General of police Hilary Mutyambai's successor Japhet Koome will be vetted on Tuesday.

He is expected to appear at the National Assembly, where he will be vetted by the Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Affairs and the Senate Standing Committee on National Security, Defence, and Foreign Relations.

Baby Travis case

Kiambu Governor Kimani Wamatangi to appear before senate over Baby Travis Maina's death.

He was laid to rest on October 18, in Thika, Kiambu County, days after he died while undergoing surgery to remove a fork jembe lodged in his skull 

Lobbying for EALA position

Lobbying in political parties has started. A record 287 Kenyans have applied for the nine slots at the East Africa Legislative Assembly (Eala).

The deadline for applications was November 2.

The names have been communicated to respective political parties to nominate their preferred representatives and return the names to parliament by Wednesday this week.

Health CS visit Kemsa depot

CS for Health Susan Wafula will visit the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) National Supply chain Centre, Embakasi, for familiarization.

US midterm elections
