Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has said Azimio leader Raila Odinga's daughter Winnie Odinga should have the EALA post, not because she is Raila's daughter but as an individual.

Winnie is among the six nominees who were fronted by ODM for the East Africa Legislative Assembly.

In a statement on Friday, Alai said Winnie should not be punished because she is from Raila's lineage.

"Just let Winnie Odinga be the EALA MP. She was born a politician and it’s her calling. EALA is a great start for her," he said.
