Police in search of man suspected of killing daughter, injuring son

Police are hunting down a man who is on the run after allegedly killing his 11-year-old daughter and injuring his son on Saturday.

According to the village administrator Willy Kalovya, the middle-aged man escaped after the incident at Kilungu B village in Kibwezi Sub-County, Makueni County at around midnight.

Kalovya said the suspect was living with his family in Kajiado County and had arrived on Saturday at his rural home with his two children.

He added that the suspect had been having marital differences with his wife, which led to the unfortunate incidence.

The injured boy has since been rushed to Kibwezi Sub-County hospital for treatment.
