Deputy President William Ruto will on Tuesday be on a Machakos County charm offensive.

The second in command is expected to hold a series of meetings in Tala, Machakos, as well as a rally in Tala Market.

This comes a day after Governor Alfred Mutua ditched the Raila Odinga-led Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance outfit for Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

This will also be Ruto's first rally alongside Governor Mutua.

Azimio-OKA presidential aspirant Raila Odinga will also be in Eastleigh, where he will sell the coalitions agenda to residents.

He is also scheduled to meet the Eastleigh Business District Association, where he will sell his plans on what he intends to do for the business community if he wins the presidency.

On Monday, the former Prime Minister toured Kajiado County accompanied by Governor Joe Ole Lenku, among other leaders allied to ODM and other Azimio affiliate parties.

The two top presidential contenders, Raila Odinga and William Ruto have been meeting Kenyans from all walks of life as they look to sell their agendas for Kenya.
