Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto and his deputy candidate Rigathi Gachagua on Tuesday led their campaigns in Nyeri County.
They traversed the regions of Narumoru, Karatina and Nyeri town in a bid to consolidate their support.
Ruto urged his supporters to come out on August 9 in large numbers and vote for him.
They were accompanied by the speaker of the national assembly Justin Muturi, Nyeri governor Mutahi Kahiga, Laikipia women representative Cate Waruguru, Nyeri MP Rahab Mukami and Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro.
Ruto pledged to give milk coolers to Nyeri residents if he clinches power to the next government.
"We shall set aside 50 billion every year to boost business for Nyeri residents when you elect me in August," Ruto said.
He lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta's remarks on handing over power to the person who shall be elected in the next government.
Other candidates who accompanied him urged residents to support the Kenya Kwanza camp in August polls.
