Ruto leads in Baringo North constituency

Out of 50,287 registered voters, over 38,000 turned out to vote

UDA presidential candidate William Ruto has taken the lead in Baringo North constituency polls.

Ruto garnered 37,635 votes ahead of Azimio's Raila Odinga who got 923 votes.

George Wajackoyah of Roots party gathered 56 votes as Agano's candidate Waihiga Mwaure got 16 votes.

The constituency has 50,287 registered voters and 38,630 valid votes were cast.

The electoral commission noted that 159 ballots were rejected.
