Over 150 junior golfers aged between 8-16 years will grace the third edition of the NCBA Golf Series at Limuru Country Club on Thursday and Friday.

The event will be the final tournament under the 2022 NCBA Golf Series that kicked off in February.

The first two junior tournaments were held in Lake Victoria Serena, Uganda and at the Karen Country Club.

The tournament is being jointly organized by NCBA Group, the Junior Golf Foundation and the United States Kids Golf Association as part of the NCBA Golf Series.

Ahead of the tournament, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora said: "By giving these junior golfers a chance to play and compete at an early age we aim to help them become better professionals and the future stars of the sport in the country."

He added: We thank our partners – the U.S. Kids Golf and the Junior Golf Foundation for supporting us in these junior tournaments. We believe that these events will go a long way in ensuring that we nurture junior golfers who are the future of the sport."

The top 3 winners from each category will get an invitation to play at the Rome Classic, Italy, and The Big 5 South Africa Open.

The event follows the Series’ Grand Finale that was held last week at the Muthaiga Golf Club where the four top golfers were crowned the tournament’s champions, earning themselves a fully-paid trip to Fancourt Golf Estate, South Africa.

They included Kariuki Nyaga (Division One), Anthony Gathura (Division Two), Clifford Mugambi (Division Three), and Wambui Gitonga (Ladies).
