Kibera Black Stars parts with entire technical bench

FKF National Super League (NSL) side Kibera Black Stars have parted ways with their entire technical bench citing mutual agreement from the affected parties.

Head coach Samwel Njuguna, his assistant Saidi Mohammed and goalkeeper trainer Charles Abwodha are the affected parties.

In the statement released by the club on Wednesday,  the decision to part ways was done after considerations from both parties.

“The decision has been made after a thorough evaluation and consideration from both parties,” the statement from the club read.

The team currently sits 15th in the league with just four points from the five matches played.

Their last league game ended in a 2-1 loss to Kisumu All Stars at the Moi Stadium Kisumu.

The club went on to thank the technical team for their service to the club despite their departure and wished them success in their future endeavors.

“The management board acknowledges the service of the three to Kibera Black Stars. Despite the parting ways, we appreciate their contribution during their time with us and wish them success in their future endeavors,” the statement reads on.

All eyes are on the clubs management to see their pick for the team technical bench as they await to take on  Rainbow FC on Saturday at the Ligi Ndogo grounds in their next league match.

Last season the team finished 14th with 32 points 41 points behind eventual league leaders and now FKF premier league side Shabana FC.

The teams highest ever finish in the NSL was in the 2020-21 season when they capped the season with 52 points finishing seventh.
