Harambee Stars depart for Iran friendly

The Stars face off Iran on March 28 at 7 pm at the famous Azadi Stadium.

Harambee Stars departed for Tehran on Sunday at 1 pm via the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and will be expected in Iran by 10:00 am on Monday.

The Stars  face off Iran in a friendly match on March 28 at 7 pm in the famous Azadi Stadium.

This will be the Stars' first assignment following the lifting of the suspension  in November 28 last year. 

The Bureau of the Fifa Council decided to lift the suspension that was imposed on the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) in February 2022 in accordance with article 16 of the FIFA Statutes.

Debutants Alfred Scriven and Daniel Anyembe have made it to the traveling squad.
