Jepkosgei unveils vision to propel Pipeline to stardom

Newly appointed coach Kenya Pipeline Esther Jepkosgei will focus on holistic player development and foster a culture of teamwork.

"I firmly believe in the power of individualised development and teamwork," Jepkosgei said.

"My goal is to empower each player to excel in their unique abilities while instilling a sense of collective responsibility and camaraderie within the team," she added. 

Drawing from her extensive coaching background across various levels of the sport, Jepkosgei emphasizes the importance of skill refinement, tactical approach, and character building in her coaching approach.

"I prioritise player development by tailoring training sessions to address individual skill areas," she explains.

"Additionally, I place a strong emphasis on team cohesion,  open communication, and building a supportive team culture where every player feels valued and motivated to contribute."

Jepkosgei has had an illustrious career in volleyball both as a national team player and assistant coach. 

"As a team player, I am committed to working closely with the technical bench and administrators to ensure a cohesive and unified approach," she affirmed

"Together, we will navigate challenges and capitalise on opportunities for growth and success."

Jepkosgei remains optimistic about the team's potential to navigate the upcoming third leg of the KVF National League starting on Thursday this week. 

"For us, it is one step at a time as we focus on continuous improvement," she states.
