Vihiga Bullets head coach Milton Kidiga has said their stay in the Kenyan Premier League depends on winning their remaining nine matches.

Vihiga Bullets are bottom of the table with just eight points; two wins and two draws.

They beat Kariobangi Sharks and Wazito and shared the spoils with Nairobi City Stars and Mathare United.

"Our fate in the Premier League depends on how we perform in the next nine matches. We must win all of them," Kidiga said.

Speaking to the Star via the phone on Tuesday morning, he said they have failed to capitalise on the chances they create during their matches.

"Poor striking is one of the reasons we find ourselves where we are — relegation zone. Poor concentration is another, especially when we concede," he said.

Kidiga said they are currently working on their form as they seek to grab 27 points, which will cement their place in the top division.

Among the teams in their upcoming fixtures are Ulinzi Stars, Sofapaka, Talanta and Police.

"We are sharpening our strike force to ensure no chance goes to waste," Kidiga said.
