The stage is set for the 2023 Paul Bitok national volleyball tournament following the draw of pools and fixtures for the tournament that takes place on April 7-9 at the Nyayo and Kasarani stadia.

Defending champions of the Kenya Volleyball Federation men's league, the General Service Unit headline pool 'A'  that also has Rwanda Air and KAPU club.

A supremacy battle awaits Kenya Ports Authority, Equity Bank and Kenya Army in the group of death pool 'B'.

Trail Blazers, Administration Police Kenya and Nairobi Prisons are in pool 'C' while Kenya Forest Service, Prisons Kenya and Kenya Defence Forces will battle in pool 'D'.

The men's semifinal matches will be played at Kasarani Indoor Arena after their group exploits at the Nyayo Stadium.

The women's teams have been placed into two pools of four and five teams respectively.

Defending league champions Kenya Pipeline, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI, Kenya Defence Forces and Nairobi Water will settle scores in  group A.

Former champions Kenya Prisons, reigning African club champions Kcb, newbies Post Bank, Nairobi Prisons and Kenya Army are in pool B.

A total of 16 matches are lined up on Friday and Saturday in the women's cadre. The semifinals and finals are set for Sunday with the top two teams in each pool making it to the last four.

Kenyan teams are allowed to field two foreign players at a time as part of the rules governing the tournament.
