Ulinzi Starlets coach Joseph Mwanza insists he is ready for this weekend's Women's Premier League match against Bunyore Starlets at the Ulinzi Sports Complex, Nairobi.

"Bunyore Starlets is not a team you are guaranteed to beat. We must have proper preparations ahead of their visit," Mwanza said.

The Ulinzi tactician was speaking to the Star via the phone after conducting a training session at the match venue.

Meanwhile, Bunyore Starlets coach Daniel Arunga said he is also well prepared for the encounter.

"We are well prepared for the game. We have no injury concerns and the squad is fit. We are ready for them," Arunga said.

Elsewhere, Zetech Spartans coach Ben Kitilo insists they are well prepared as they host Vihiga Queens at Cambridge Stadium on Sunday.

"I know they are the champions, yes... but we are fully charged for the match. I have been having problems with my striking force but I have worked on it and am ready," Kitilo said on the phone.

The tactician said he did not make any additions to the team after failing to get the preferred quality, adding that they will need to work as a team in the hunt for maximum points.

Vihiga Queens are top of the league with 28 points, level with Gaspo, but goal difference separates the two.

Coach Boniface Nyamunyamu said they have recruited Dorcas Neema,(Bunyore) Noela Milimu (Gaspo), Providence Khasiala (Ulinzi), Betta Omitta ( unattached) and Winnie Babrige from Ganda (Makerere University).

“Our mission is to defend our trophy, no more stories at this time. we know Gaspo, Thika and Ulinzi are on our backs but they won’t make it,” Nyamunyamu told the Star on phone.

Kangemi Ladies host Nakuru City Queens, Thika Queens host Kisumu Starlets and Wadadia battle Trans Nzoia Falcons at Mumias Complex.

Sunday will also have Kayole Starlets up against Gaspo at Cambridge.
