Five Kenyan couples are interested in this year's Villa Rosa Kempinski Valentine weekend package that costs Sh5.4 million.

"So far we have five people who are interested in the Valentines offer. We will only know who will get the package by next week," Anne Murungi,

director of sales and marketing, Villa Rosa Kempinski Nairobi said.

The couple will get to spend two nights in the ostentatious presidential suit that raised eyebrows last year because it's cost was Sh2.34 million. This is the beginning of a 50-hour intimate and romantic journey built around an ultimate luxury experience.

"However, until money is deposited we cannot say it is sold," Murungi added.

According to a press release by the hotel, on Saturday, February 13, the couple will be picked in a convoy of limousines, accompanied by a butler, a lady-in-red and security for close protection. The red carpet walk way, free flow of champagne and a two nights stay at the presidential suite sets the pace for the couple. They will then be flown to Masai Mara for a sky safari the following day. The couple is expected to arrive at Olare Mara Kempinski – Masai Mara at 1300hrs. Two Thai masseuses will be flown in from Villa Rosa Kempinski to take them through a romantic spa session just by the plunge pool overlooking the vast savannah dotted with wildlife.

The couple will be given some time to relax and have a bubble bath before a game drive enroute to an exclusive sundowner cocktail set up for the couple in the middle of the park. After this remarkable experience the couple takes their chopper back to the city to culminate the intimate experience, plus intimate sundowner cocktail.

The guests will enjoy this dining experience on Valentines night at the hotel’s rooftop, overlooking Nairobi city’s skyline with the executive chef, two waitresses and their butler at their beck and call.

The hotel has handpicked exclusive custom-made set of diamond jewellery for the lady and white diamond cuff links for the gentleman sourced from a top-range designer in Italy which will be personalised and custom-made gifts for the couple valued at Sh1.4 million.
