Tonight, Mombasa will witness the crowning of the beauty contestants that auditioned last week. The grand finale will be hosted at the famous tusks along Moi Avenue, Mombasa. The competing beauty queens included Yvonne Ndonu (MKU), Anne Mkan (UON), Yvonne Della (KEMU), Aisha Ahmed (African Institute) and Nelly Mamboleo of Mombasa Polytechnic.
During the auditions, held aboard the MV Likoni, the girls were asked questions about the county's famous tourists attraction sites, the Mijikenda community and airstrips located at the Coast.
Expected guests at the affair include Mombasa county director of communications Esther Ingolo, county executive committee members Antony Njaramba (Tourism) and County Binti Omar (Agriculture), Pwani FM's Gates Mgenge.
