Kenyans may be known to have a thing for foreigners but this was proven wrong on Sunday when they all went Gaga on Sauti Sol over South Africa's Tumi and the Volume. This month's edition also featured Yunasi. Sauti Sol brought the house down in their first Kenyan performance following a month-long European tour.

Although Tumi & the Volume from South Africa held their own Sauti Sol had perfected the art of rearranging some of their songs performing unique renditions that kept the crowd on their feet for almost two hours. They performed songs off their new album Sauti Sol .The album is an experimental work in which Sauti Sol collaborated South African rapper/producer Spoek Mathambo. The end result

proved the band's mission to break (African) musical stereotypes and borders.

Other performances included visually impaired singer cum guitarist Michael Ongarowho who is credited as one of the most talented and accomplished artistes in Kenya. The event attracted major socialites including activist Brian Weke, Camp Mulla and other major showbiz industry personalities.
