The stunning view of Mount Longonot alongside the escarpment in the area was truly breathtaking, the ultimate photographing paradise.

Make sure to carry warm clothing though since the temperature there was very chilly.

The next stopover was Safari Center, this place features a host of beautiful ambient eateries such as the Naivas food market and Artcaffe.

We grabbed a variety of delectable snacks and meals including Freshly made samosas, chapatis, sausages, and a variety of drinks.

Finally, we get to our destination.

The accommodation in Boffar residences was truly top-notch, ranging from spacious compounds to bedrooms, geometrically trimmed hedges, and well-lit dining and living room areas.

We rested a bit then dove right into what brought us there; Fun and enjoyment.

After a well-prepared chicken stew paired with fluffy rice and rich green vegetables, we embarked on a pulsating and nerve-racking football match, that left the pitch worn out.

Team Francis emerged winners with goals from Lucy, Maureen, and Safari leaving Team Nancy infuriated after the loss.

The team then enjoyed the night away into the morning. Breakfast was hearty, filling, and delectable. Ranging from sausages, fruits, sweet potatoes, eggs, and coffee you name it.

After the meal, we engaged in a very productive exercise that involved getting to know each other by writing one's thoughts toward another while maintaining anonymity.

This exercise proved to be very productive since each member of the team got to know themselves better as well as work on themselves. A chilly and rainy afternoon had us sitting in the living area whilst enjoying some great music alongside expertly prepared mutton pilau.

Later we decided to take a tour down to the lake, the picturesque view of Lake Naivasha accompanied by the ambiance of nature is a site that will forever be engraved in our minds.

Boffar residences have a number of amenities that are easily accessible ranging from a spacious swimming pool, bar, ping pong tables, and lush green fields where one can relax.

A weekend getaway without a bonfire is like bread without butter, we lit a bonfire and gathered around it while discussing and telling stories. This bonding experience was truly engaging, to the point where dawn was breaking.

The last day has finally reached. This was the climax in terms of activities, immediately after an energizing breakfast we headed to the pitch for one last time.

Team Nancy was seeking the illusive glory of winning, one could see the hunger in their eyes, alas the time came. The football match was a war for bragging rights.

Team Francis once again took the day with goals from Bosco and Safari. The tight match left Team Nancy defeated with two goals from Felix and Allan. After the match, the team decided to head over to the lake and book 30-minute boat rides.

The lake tour was insightful and educational, we got to see families of hippos and how they live on the lake, alongside facts about Lake Naivasha. One fact was that Lake Naivasha is one of the few freshwater lakes in East Africa.

Once the educational tour came to an end, fun and games kicked in. Three teams in three separate boats engaged in an exhilarating activity of water splashing, the main aim was to get the opponent's team soaking wet.

The laughs and screams in these boats proved that people were really having the time of their lives, What an experience! What a way to end a vacation!Simply marvelous.

As the clock was ticking and time was not on our side, we made haste to have lunch, pack our bags and prepare to leave.

After a word of prayer, all roads led to Nairobi and all members of the team arrived safely.

Phenomenal, astounding, sensational, and stunning are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to describing this getaway.

Truly Naivasha is a travel gem that is bound to create these amazing nostalgic memories that will forever be timeless!
